One of the many anticipated events at SEC Media Days is the unveiling of the media’s all-conference teams. SEC Network analysts Greg McElroy and Marcus Spears decided to discuss the players who they expect to be named to the All-SEC team. In the segment, the vast majority of the air time goes to Spears’ selections, with a couple suggestions for changes from McElroy.

Spears went with Greg Little (Ole Miss), Trey Smith (Tennessee), Ross Pierschbacher (Alabama), Martez Ivey (Florida) and Jonah Williams (Alabama) for his offensive line. McElroy is quick to call him out for three tackles and no centers.

In the backfield, Spears turns to QB Drew Lock (Missouri), RB Benny Snell (Kentucky) and RB Damien Williams (Alabama). For Lock’s targets, Spears picks WR A.J. Brown (Ole Miss), WR Deebo Samuel (South Carolina) and WR Emanuel Hall (Missouri).

McElroy takes issue with two of Spears’ selections, advocating for Georgia RB D’Andre Swift and Auburn QB Jarrett Stidham. The full segment can be viewed in the video below.
