The best of the best teams from the state of Texas competed for state titles on Saturday, but perhaps no game had as incredible of a finish as the Class 6A Division I title game.

North Shore trailed Duncanville by one point with only three seconds left and the ball at the 45-yard line. That’s when a desperation Hail Mary was the play call.

As you can see in the video below, sophomore QB Dematrius Davis Jr. took the snap and rolled around in the pocket before firing the ball into the end zone, where senior WR and UTEP commit Ajani Carter made the incredible catch to win the game for North Shore:

It’s incredible enough to win any game on a Hail Mary, but to do it in the state title game? That’s just unbelievable.

This is a play that no one who witnessed it will soon forget.
