Being a broadcaster is hard. Not only is the action really far away from you, but you have to memorize players’ names and be able to spot them in an instant.

Then there’s all the additional stuff they have to do, which includes reading promos for upcoming shows on the network and the halftime show of the game they’re calling.

As you can see in the hilarious video below, announcer Dick Stockton was reading a promo for the FOX halftime show on Sunday during the Jacksonville Jaguars’ game against the Los Angeles Rams and didn’t get his cue to ad-lib:

“Look on graphic for final two bullet points,” Stockton reads, instead of actually looking at the graphic for the final two bullet points, which involved the Kansas City Chiefs looking to stay undefeated and the Oakland Raiders hosting the Los Angeles Chargers.

It’s hard to watch that clip and not be reminded of “Anchorman,” where anchor Ron Burgundy will read anything put on the teleprompter:

Fortunately for Stockton, the color analyst simply moved on, ignoring the embarrassing error.
