We may have to wait a few more weeks for some Southeastern Conference football, but in the meantime, we have several games that should hold us all over until things get going in the nation’s best college football conference.

Starting on Saturday, Aug. 29, with a game set to be broadcast nationally with the Guardian Credit Union FCS Kickoff.

The first college football game of the 2020 season will take place between Central Arkansas and Austin Peay. SMU at Texas State are also scheduled to play on Aug. 29.

According to Brad Powers, Central Arkansas is a slight favorite in that matchup, while SMU is a three-touchdown favorite in their matchup.

Central Arkansas (-4) vs Austin Peay; over/under 45 points.

SMU (-21) at Texas St; over/under 62.5 points.

Following that kickoff game, Southern Miss and South Alabama are set to meet on Thursday, Sept. 3 with that game being broadcast by CBS Sports Network.

Southern Miss (-14) vs South Alabama; over/under 52 points.

On Friday, Sept. 4, Army and MTSU are set to face off.

Army (-5) at Middle Tennessee; over/under 55.5 points.

On Saturday, Sept. 5, Arkansas State and Memphis will be featured on ESPN.

Memphis (-20) vs Arkansas St; over/under 67.5 points.

Finally, on Monday, Sept. 7, College GameDay is headed to  Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium for the 8 p.m. ET showdown between Navy and BYU.

Navy (-2.5) vs BYU; over/under 56.5 points.
