Week 2 was much tougher than Week 1 was for SEC football teams.

After kicking off the season with a collective 12-1 opening-week performance, SEC teams went 9-5 last week, including Arkansas’ loss to Toledo, Mississippi State’s home loss to LSU and South Carolina’s home defeat versus Kentucky.

Additionally, after setting a record with 10 teams in the Associated Press Top 25 poll, the SEC saw three of its teams fall out of it and watched Auburn tumble 12 spots to No. 18.
