If it wasn’t for LSU’s nonconference game, Week 8 could have been named the All-SEC Brawl Weekend.
As it is, Saturday is going to be packed full of great SEC matchups that span the spectrum. We have teams desperate to show they matter, teams that just want to show off and, just like every weekend, teams just out to gain some national respect.
This weekend also features the most-played matchup so far this season when Tennessee and Alabama get together. These two teams have faced each other 96 times, in the past, with their first meeting dating back to 1901. Talk about having a history.
