The SEC continues to have three of the top 10 quarterbacks in the country, as ranked by ESPN’s Total Quarterback Ranking, and five of the top 20.

Alabama’s Tua Tagovailoa remains the best in the SEC, and behind former teammate Jalen Hurts at Alabama for tops in the country. Bo Nix’ rough afternoon in Gainesville slipped the Auburn quarterback from No. 26 to No. 58 this week as the rankings were updated after Week 6.

The ranking, which takes into account strength of schedule, measures from zero to 100, where 50 is average. Top quarterbacks are in the upper 80s and 90s for a season.

Injuries to SEC quarterbacks have been a major story across the league, and backups who have come in likely don’t have enough snaps to be listed in the rankings yet.
