There’s a strong chance that either Alabama quarterback Mac Jones or Florida quarterback Kyle Trask will win the Heisman Trophy this season. They continue to be among the best players in the country, so it’s no surprise that both remain near the top of the ESPN Total QBR rankings.

Jones passed for 302 yards and five touchdowns in the Crimson Tide’s win over Auburn on Saturday. He currently has a 95.5 Total QBR, the best in the country. And he’s guided Alabama to an 8-0 start as it makes a push toward the SEC Championship Game and possibly the College Football Playoff.

Trask has impressed, too. He passed for 256 yards and three touchdowns in the Gators’ win over Kentucky on Saturday. He ranks third in the nation with a 93.4 Total QBR, behind only Jones and Ohio State’s Justin Fields (94.4).
