The first day of the Early Signing Period for 2020 is officially in the books.

Most of the prospects who were already committed to schools officially signed Wednesday; however, there were a few commits who didn’t sign and who will take visits between now and February.

The Clemson Tigers finished with the nation’s No. 1 recruiting class, as they jumped Alabama Wednesday. Dabo Swinney signed a ridiculous six five-star players. That’s double Alabama’s three, and no other program aside from Alabama had more than two.

Specifically in the SEC, six recruiting classes finished ranked in the top eight: 2. Alabama, 4. Georgia, 5. LSU, 6. Texas A&M, No. 7 Auburn and No. 8 Florida. Four others also finished in the top 25.

The Gators were the only recruiting class in the top 10 to not sign a five-star prospect.

Below is where all SEC recruiting classes are ranked following the first day of the Early Signing Period, via 247Sports Composite Rankings, and it’s worth remembering that these may change following the historical National Signing Day in February:
