Where every SEC school stands in US News’ updated rankings of national universities

US News releases comprehensive rankings of American universities every year, and the 2022 version of the rankings is now out.
SEC schools span a wide range on the list, starting with Vanderbilt at No. 14 and wrapping up with Mississippi State just inside the top 200.
Here’s a look at where every SEC school stands in the US News rankings of best universities in the United States:
- No. 14 — Vanderbilt
- No. 28 — Florida
- No. 48 — Georgia
- No. 68 — Texas A&M
- No. 99 — Auburn
- No. 103 — Tennessee
- No. 117 — South Carolina
- No. 122 — Mizzou
- No. 127 — Kentucky
- No. 148 — Alabama
- No. 148 — Ole Miss
- No. 162 — Arkansas
- No. 172 — LSU
- No. 196 — Mississippi State
