The 2020 college football season is officially underway, even if there are a few FBS conferences that aren’t playing.

The Big Ten (for now), Pac-12, Mountain West and MAC are out. The SEC starts Sept. 26. The rest of the conferences — Sun Belt, Conference USA, AAC, Big 12 and ACC — have had some teams play.

There are 76 FBS programs taking the field this fall, and on Monday, CBS Sports updated its ranking of all of those teams. As you can see below, 6 SEC squads rank in the top 10:

  • No. 2 — Alabama
  • No. 4 — Georgia
  • No. 5 — Florida
  • No. 7 — LSU
  • No. 9 — Auburn
  • No. 10 — Texas A&M
  • No. 15 — Tennessee
  • No. 19 — Kentucky
  • No. 34 — Mississippi State
  • No. 37 — Ole Miss
  • No. 41 — Mizzou
  • No. 48 — South Carolina
  • No. 58 — Vanderbilt
  • No. 61 — Arkansas

Now, we’ll just have to wait for the SEC to actually play some games to see how these rankings change in a couple of weeks.
