More than a month into the season, the top quarterbacks across the SEC are beginning to establish themselves, and they may be a different group than some figured in the offseason.

Georgia’s Stetson Bennett and Missouri’s Connor Bazelak are each in the top five of SEC QBs according to ESPN’s latest QBR ratings.

But one of the more known commodities around, especially with his slew of weapons, is Alabama QB Mac Jones, who had a tremendous game in the win over Tennessee. Jones started the game 9-for-9 that meant he completed 17 consecutive passes in a row, which is an all-time Alabama passing record.

Jones finished 25 of 31 for 387 yards in the win over Tennessee and left the game in the fourth quarter once the game was in hand. Jones is completing 79 percent of his passes this season, and averaging 381 passing yards per game, which is third in the country.

ESPN’s QBR ratings were updated through Week 5.
