Will Muschamp reacts to firing of Les Miles
South Carolina coach Will Muschamp regularly talks with beat reporters on Sunday. While talking about the Gamecocks’ loss to Kentucky and next week’s game against Texas A&M, he also commented on the firing of LSU coach Les Miles:
Muschamp on Les Miles: "Les was always good to me. It's an unfortunate situation. It’s part of our profession."

As head coaches, Muschamp and Miles faced each other four times (2011-14). Miles got the better of Muschamp, winning three-of-four meetings.
You’ll be next Muschamp. Should have stayed a DC.
Yeah, no kidding. Muschamp doesn’t possess the qualities of a good HC. A few of his former players at FL and AU say he’s weak. I can’t believe SC fans were excited to get him. Hard to imagine an entire state living under a rock.
They are completely delusional and desperate. South Carolina fans will make every excuse for Muschamp. He’s a proven failure as a HC. How do you not win at a program like Florida? It may take them awhile but reality will set in pretty soon.
Agreed.
South Carolina should fire Muschamp, hire Les Miles and start him this Saturday.
