Xavier Filsaime has over a year until he can sign to play college football, but the blue-chip 2024 defensive back prospect is starting to narrow things down in his recruitment. Filsaime has picked up 26 scholarship offers so far. Saturday, he named his top 11 schools.

Filsaime has Arkansas, Georgia, LSU and Tennessee in his top group, along with Oklahoma, Baylor, Florida State, Oregon, SMU, TCU and USC.

Filsaime, out of McKinney (Texas), is listed at 6-1, 180 pounds. On the 247Sports composite rankings, he is rated 4-stars, the No. 7 cornerback, No. 9 Lone Star State recruit and No. 69 prospect overall nationally in the 2024 recruiting class.

Filsaime tweeted of being offered by LSU on April 27. Offers from Arkansas (May 12), Georgia (Aug. 17) and Tennessee (Sept. 21) followed. On Nov. 4, Filsaime tweeted he was visiting LSU that weekend. The Tigers’ walk-off upset of Alabama presumably left a good impression.
