Xavier Filsaime, 4-star 2024 safety from Texas, includes 3 SEC teams in his top 5

Xavier Filsaime is one of the top safeties in the 2024 recruiting class, and like many top recruits in his class, he’s narrowing down his list of schools.
On Wednesday, the Texas native narrowed his list down to 5 schools, as was announced by On3 Sports on Twitter.
As you can see below, 3 SEC programs — Georgia, Florida and LSU — made the cut for the 4-star safety:

Those 3 SEC programs will compete with a pair of Pac-12 schools — USC and Oregon — for Filsaime’s services in 2024 and beyond.
Per the 247Sports composite rankings, Filsaime is the No. 3 safety in the 2024 recruiting class and the No. 7 overall prospect from the state of Texas.
