2019 XFL Draft: 78 former SEC players selected over 2-day draft
The 2019 XFL Draft is officially in the books.
The draft took place over a two-day stretch. Eight quarterbacks were assigned before the draft started Tuesday, and 240 total players were selected on Day 1. The XFL Draft had five different phases: skill position, offensive linemen, defensive front seven, defensive backs and open pool (all positions). The latter two were completed Wednesday evening.
All total, 78 former SEC players were drafted, which represented all 14 SEC programs. Auburn had a whopping 13 former players drafted, which led all SEC programs.
