If you haven’t heard of Zion Williamson, you will soon.

Ranked as the No. 2 overall prospect and the top uncommitted prospect in the country, according to ESPN, Williamson, from Spartanburg Day High School in Spartanburg, S.C., is a superstar in the making. He’s perhaps the most famous dunker of his generation and has turned into a legitimate viral sensation. He has over one million Instagram followers.

Everyone around the basketball world was tuning into see where Williamson would announce his college destination. Clemson, Duke, Kentucky, Kansas, North Carolina and South Carolina were his finalists. And on Saturday night, Williamson made it official and committed to Duke.

With Williamson’s commitment to Duke, the Blue Devils now have the top three players in ESPN’s rankings committed: No. 1 SF RJ Barrett, Williamson and No. 3 SF Cam Reddish. Williamson is listed at 6-foot-6, 275 pounds, and he has just ridiculous hops.

There’s little doubt that Williamson will be a one-and-done, and he’s already projected as a top-5 pick in the 2019 NBA Draft by most outlets.
