Big man Alex Huntley got involved in a touchdown for South Carolina and it wasn’t as a blocker.

Spencer Rattler faked the hand off to Mario Anderson and threaded the pass to a wide-open Boogie Huntley. It looks like the Gamecocks are getting creative in order to score against Vanderbilt.

Huntley typically plays on the defensive line for the Gamecocks, but there’s nothing wrong with using a large individual like himself on the goal line too.

Huntley has played in 9 games for South Carolina this season. He’s accounted for 26 total tackles, 3 tackles for loss, 2 sacks, and 2 passes defended.

Tonka Hemingway was also lined up for the red zone play. It looks like South Carolina isn’t afraid to mix things up to trick the Commodores defense.

It’s paid off so far for South Carolina.
