If you missed the news, Will and Carol Muschamp have started a foundation called “Feed Our Heroes” to help support all the healthcare providers putting their safety at risk to help those affected by the coronavirus pandemic.

The goal of the foundation is to help provide food to the healthcare workers on the front lines of the pandemic in Lexington, Richland and Sumter counties.

“We wanted to do something for the community during this pandemic,” Will Muschamp said via statement. “We reached out to Joe Walker at Marco’s Pizza and told him we wanted to show our gratitude by feeding those healthcare employees who are on the front line, working tirelessly to prevent the spread of coronavirus and providing exceptional patient care here in the Midlands.”

While that effort by the Muschamp family is tremendous, they are taking it a step further by hand-delivering pizzas to the healthcare providers this week.

“These people on the front lines are our health care workers. They are the true heroes right now,” Muschamp says in the video below. “When Carol and I were talking one night after dinner, just brainstorming different ideas we can do to help, I said I got an idea, we can feed some healthcare workers.”
