David Pollack admitted he was wrong after making comments about South Carolina’s chances against Tennessee on Saturday.

The ESPN analyst gave some bold comments on College GameDay Saturday morning, but he was forced to eat his words by the end of the day as South Carolina cruised past No. 5 Tennessee.

“The only way South Carolina would have a chance to even remotely stay in this game is to bring back Deebo Samuel,” Pollack said.

South Carolina didn’t need Samuel as the Gamecocks had 6 receiving touchdowns against a weak Tennessee secondary.

Pollack took to Twitter to let everyone know that he was wrong saying “I was def wrong about South Carolina,” in response to a tweet from Robert Griffin III that said he owed South Carolina’s receivers an apology.

South Carolina seems to have accepted the apology.
