Deebo Samuel is one of the most versatile players in the NFL, and the San Francisco 49ers are taking advantage of all that talent.

The former South Carolina star was instrumental in a successful trick play, as he took a handoff, and came to the right sideline only to launch a 24-yard touchdown to former Tennessee star WR Jauan Jennings.

It was Samuel’s second pass attempt of his career and his first completion, according to the FOX broadcast team, the Mercury News reported. He now has 6 receiving touchdowns this season in addition to 8 rushing scores and a single passing touchdown.

In a high-scoring affair, Samuel was a key player again for the 49ers. By early in the fourth quarter, Samuel had 5 carries for 32 yards and a touchdown, and one catch for 14 yards. For his part, Jennings had 2 catches for 32 yards on 3 targets.
