Deebo Samuel is proving to be a great fit in the San Francisco offense. 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan recognizes that he has a versatile play-maker in the former South Carolina Gamecocks standout and is ways to get the ball in Samuel’s hands.

The rookie wide receiver got to show what he can do as a runner on a fun play with a fake and end-around toss. Samuel’s spin move to shake the chasing defenders before crossing the goal line got the attention of many fans on social media. Check out the 30-yard touchdown run in The Checkdown’s video below:

The play was reviewed to see if Samuel’s foot touched the line on the spin. The call stood, so Samuel’s touchdown is official. San Francisco currently leads Seattle 13-0 in the first half. In addition to the run, Samuel has 3 receptions for 57 yards. The game is on NBC.
