Devontae Davis started his college career in the JUCO ranks, becoming a standout at Georgia Military College before transferring to South Carolina midway through the 2019 season.

Now, ahead of his final year of collegiate eligibility, he’s on the move again. He’ll head to the ACC to play the 2022 campaign.

As you can see below, Davis took to Twitter on Monday to reveal he’d be playing for new coach Tony Elliott and the Virginia Cavaliers this fall:

Davis appeared in 8 games along the defensive line for the Gamecocks this past season, recording 4 tackles and getting credit for half a tackle for loss.

What sort of role he earns in Virginia remains to be seen, but his time in Columbia has officially come to an end.
