Fans letting SEC’s Officiating Twitter account hear it following rough first half from Columbia

Alabama has jumped on South Carolina during the first half but it’s hard to argue that the Crimson Tide have been finding themselves on the right side of a few calls.

A borderline call against South Carolina on a fake field goal that resulted in a touchdown was called back, the Gamecocks downed a punt inside the two-yard line only to have to re-punt due to an illegal shift. On the ensuing return, Alabama had a blatant block in the back that was not called. Right before the halftime break, South Carolina appeared to score a touchdown but was ruled down at the one-inch line.

The play was not reviewed and South Carolina did not score after going for it on fourth and goal from the three.
