Former South Carolina forward Jalyn McCreary announces transfer destination

Like almost every team this offseason, the South Carolina Gamecocks have had some roster attrition due to the NCAA transfer portal.

One of those transferring players is F Jalyn McCreary. And, on Tuesday afternoon, McCreary announced where he’ll play in 2021-22.

As you can see below, McCreary took to Twitter to reveal that he’d be heading south to play for USF moving forward:

McCreary appeared in 17 games for the Gamecocks last season, making 1 start. He averaged 5.1 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.1 blocks per contest.

USF plays in the AAC. The Bulls went 9-14 last season, finishing 4-10 in AAC play. They are coached by Brian Gregory.
