Brandon Shell is getting another shot to make an NFL roster.

The former South Carolina offensive lineman was signed to the Miami Dolphins’ practice squad Monday.

The 6-5, 324-pound tackle was drafted by the New York Jets in the 5th round of the 2016 NFL Draft with the 158th overall pick.

Shell ultimately became a starter for the Jets but injuries hampered his career in New York.

Shoulder and neck injuries cut Shell’s 2017 season short, while a knee injury ended his 2018 season prematurely.

Shell signed with Seattle in March of 2020, and he started 10 games for the Seahawks during the 2021 season before a shoulder injury sidelined him for the remainder of the year.
