Former South Carolina WR Pharoh Cooper lands new NFL opportunity

Pharoh Cooper has been signed to the Arizona Cardinals’ practice squad. He played for Arizona at the end of the 2018 season and then under Kliff Kingsbury in 2019 where he would see some playing time as a wide receiver.
Copper in 2019 made 25 catches for 243 yards with the Cardinals after being cut before the regular season and making his return. Since leaving, he has been with the Carolina Panthers, Jacksonville Jaguars and New York Giants before his return this year.
The Arizona Cardinals are bringing back WR Pharoh Cooper to the practice squad. Cooper caught 25 passes for 243 yards with a TD in Kyler Murray's 2019 rookie season.

As a punt returner, Cooper had been successful with the Los Angeles Rams and was named as a Pro-Bowler in 2017 as a return specialist. He would also returns 17 punts and 25 kickoffs in 2019 for Arizona over a 12 game stretch.
The news comes with Rondale Moore going down on Monday with a possible groin injury and Greg Dortch limited with a thumb issue which has hindered the Cardinals receiver room. Hollywood Brown is listed to come back from a foot injury and DeAndre Hopkins has been consistently producing in the absence of others.
The Cardinals will play this Sunday against the Los Angeles Chargers.
