Back on March 15, former South Carolina WR Bruce Ellington was signed by the New England Patriots.
Now, less than two months later, he’s apparently a free agent again and looking for a new NFL home.
Per a tweet from the Patriots on Wednesday afternoon, Ellington has been released and will now be on the move once again:

Ellington has been in the NFL for five years, spending the first three with the San Francisco 49ers (and missing the 2016 season with a hamstring injury). He then moved on to the New York Jets before failing his physical.
He spent the 2017 season and part of 2018 with the Houston Texans before finishing up last season with the Detroit Lions.
Where he ends up next remains to be seen.
