Jaycee Horn responds to South Carolina fans upset over what he told Gamecocks recruiting target
Jaycee Horn took to social media to defend himself after South Carolina fans were upset by what a recruit said after picking Miami over the Gamecocks and others.
On Friday, 4-star ATH Chris Graves announced his college decision. The Miami Herald described the commitment as Graves picking the Hurricanes over LSU and South Carolina. The Herald’s report included a quote from Graves that a conversation with Horn steered him toward UM to play for former South Carolina assistant Travaris Robinson.
Miami beat out LSU and South Carolina to land Fort Myers Bishop Verot four-star athlete Chris Graves — and actually got an assist from former Gamecocks cornerback Jaycee Horn. “I just think T-Rob will get me to the league,” Graves said. https://t.co/E4Ez7kc7fC pic.twitter.com/C16b4YzRNj

Gamecock fans were not happy with Graves’ implying Horn steered him to Miami. Horn took to Twitter to explain himself, saying that Graves was already down to two schools other than South Carolina when they spoke.
