Jaylin White’s recruitment may be far from finished but the four-star running back prospect from Dothan, Ala., at least has his options narrowed down somewhat as his college recruitment continues entering the summer.

The 5-foot-10, 185-pound White is rated as the nation’s No. 10 running back prospect, the No. 7 overall prospect from Alabama and a top 250 recruit nationally in the 2021 recruiting cycle according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.

On Tuesday, the Alabama native announced SEC programs Florida, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, South Carolina and Texas A&M all made his top 10. Outside of the SEC, White is also considering Florida State, Louisville, Memphis, Nebraska and Penn State.

During the spring, White visited South Carolina, Alabama, Auburn and Florida State before the NCAA and the SEC put a halt to all recruiting visits due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Alabama native has not yet set a date for his upcoming commitment.

During his junior season for New Dothan High School, White rushed for 900 yards and 16 touchdowns.
