Lamont Paris is taking over as the head coach of the South Carolina Gamecocks, replacing Frank Martin (who is now at UMass).

Paris has been working to put together his coaching staff and his first roster with the Gamecocks, and it appears his staff is now complete.

Per a report from Jeff Goodman of Stadium, Paris is hiring Tim Buckley to round out his coaching staff. Buckley has spent the last 3 years at UNLV as an assistant:

Buckley was the head coach at Ball State from 2000 to 2006. He amassed a career record of 93-87 during his time with the Cardinals.

Buckley was also the associate head coach at Indiana from 2008 to 2017.
