South Carolina’s recruiting machine has no intention of slowing down.

Just when it looked like the Gamecocks were done for the month of June, Shane Beamer teased a new commitment for South Carolina fans to celebrate and now we know who that is as Texas receiver Landon Samson has just announced his pledge to join the program.

Samson is the 11th prospect to announce his commitment to South Carolina during the month of June (three of the program’s pledges are currently silent commits).

The program’s newest commit hails from Texas high school powerhouse program Southlake Carroll. During his junior season, Samson caught 74 passes for 1,293 yards and 15 touchdowns.

The Texas native picked South Carolina over scholarship offers from Nebraska, Colorado, Duke, UCF, Boise State and Memphis, among others.
