Every South Carolina fan is dying to know which coach will be the next to serve as the leader of the Gamecock program.

That even applies to South Carolina legend, Marcus Lattimore.

And just like the rest of the fan base, Lattimore has his take on which direction the program should go when searching for that coach.

During a recent appearance on Live 5 News, Lattimore shared his thoughts on the South Carolina coaching search and mentioned two of the most popular names being discussed in Columbia — Louisiana’s Billy Napier and Oklahoma assistant Shane Beamer.

“I hear the name Billy Napier and Shane Beamer. Billy Napier recruited me and I think he’s a great guy,” Lattimore says in the clip below. “Coach Beamer recruited me and I played under him and I will say candidly, it was one of the most enjoyable experiences that I had.”
