MarShawn Lloyd has found his new home.

The former South Carolina running back announced on social media that he would continue his career at Southern Cal, as the former blue-chip recruit from the Washington, D.C. area goes from one USC to another.

Lloyd led the Gamecocks in rushing this past season with 573 yards and 9 touchdowns on 111 carries for a 5.16 per carry average.

Last season, he came back from an ACL injury and appeared in all 12 regular season games as he worked his way back into form. He was the Gamecocks’ fourth-leading rushing with 64 carries for 228 yards and one touchdown, along with 3 catches for 44 yards.

Lloyd suffered a quad contusion during the Missouri game this past season, and missed 3 games, and returned with limited touches in the regular-season finale against Clemson. He had 11 carries for 17 yards.

Lloyd’s 11 total touchdowns made him the team’s second-highest scorer behind only quarterback Spencer Rattler.
