South Carolina’s football facility got a strong endorsement from an NFL head coach this week.
Carolina Panthers head coach was Matt Rhule in Columbia for the Gamecocks’ Pro Day and shared with the official Twitter account of South Carolina football that he was thoroughly impressed by the team’s primary football facility. Rhule, a former college head coach himself, said he was “blown away,” checking out the facility for the first time.

Rhule has a connection to the Shane Beamer staff. Marcus Satterfield, who was on Rhule’s Panthers staff for the 2020 season, is now the South Carolina offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach. The two also coached together at Baylor and Temple.
