OrTre Smith spent the first few years of his college career as a wide receiver for South Carolina.

But, now, he’s decided to move on from Columbia and play somewhere else for his final year of eligibility.

Per a report on Monday, the former Gamecock has enrolled at North Carolina Central to get his Masters degree in kinesiology:

Smith recorded 43 catches for 435 yards and 4 touchdowns during his South Carolina career. Now, he’ll play for North Carolina Central, a team in the FCS ranks.

The Eagles play in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference and went 4-8 last season. We’ll see what role Smith is able to carve out for himself in 2022.
