OrTre Smith, former South Carolina WR, reportedly enrolls at new school

OrTre Smith spent the first few years of his college career as a wide receiver for South Carolina.
But, now, he’s decided to move on from Columbia and play somewhere else for his final year of eligibility.
Per a report on Monday, the former Gamecock has enrolled at North Carolina Central to get his Masters degree in kinesiology:
Former #Gamecocks WR OrTre Smith has enrolled at North Carolina Central for his final season of eligibility. Smith is getting his masters in Kinesiology and started classes there two weeks ago. Smith played 19 games at USC and had 43 catches for 435 yards and 4 TDs.

Smith recorded 43 catches for 435 yards and 4 touchdowns during his South Carolina career. Now, he’ll play for North Carolina Central, a team in the FCS ranks.
The Eagles play in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference and went 4-8 last season. We’ll see what role Smith is able to carve out for himself in 2022.
