Pair of key South Carolina players ‘questionable to doubtful’ against Western Carolina
South Carolina might be missing two players as it strives to gain bowl eligibility Saturday.
Both redshirt freshman running back AJ Turner and senior safety Chris Moody are “questionable to doubtful,” Gamecocks coach Will Muschamp said during a Tuesday press conference.

Turner, the team’s starting running back for most of the season, suffered a knee injury during South Carolina’s 31-21 win against Missouri on Nov. 5. He dressed out but did not participate in the team’s 20-7 loss at Florida last Saturday.
Moody, the Gamecocks’ sixth-leading tackler, sustained a bone bruise against the Gators and required help to leave the field.
However, South Carolina (5-5) may not need their services when it hosts FCS Western Carolina (2-8) at 4 p.m. ET on Saturday.
