As the Kansas City Chiefs prepare for the AFC Championship game on Sunday night against the Buffalo Bills, a pair of former South Carolina defensive backs are in the mix on the injury report and with roster moves.

Rashad Fenton was listed as a “limited participant” on the latest injury report with a foot injury and questionable to play in the game. Meanwhile, perhaps to replace him, Chris Lammons was among the players activated from the practice squad ahead of the game.

Fenton suffered ankle and foot injuries in Week 17 against the Los Angeles Chargers. He was held out of the divisional round against the Cleveland Browns with his injuries, but he’s been practicing in a limited capacity all week, per Chiefs Wire.

Fenton entered the NFL as a sixth-round pick of the Chiefs (201st overall) in the 2019 NFL Draft. Fenton played in 12 games in 2019, and 16 in the 2020 season. He has 35 tackles this season with seven passes defended and an interception. He also made three kickoff returns for an average of 30 yards per return.

Lammons originally entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with Atlanta in 2018. He also spent time with New Orleans and Miami before he landed with the Chiefs.
