The 2021-22 college basketball season will be here before we know it. When November and December roll around, there will be some big-time nonconference matchups.
The South Carolina Gamecocks and coach Frank Martin will reportedly play in one of those big games, taking on an ACC foe.
Per CollegeHoopsToday.com’s Jon Rothstein, the Gamecocks will meet up with Florida State in December in Rock Hill, South Carolina. A specific date has yet to be determined.
Per Rothstein’s report, there will be another game in the series, which will be played at a neutral site in Florida at a to-be-determined date.
There’s a good chance Florida State will enter this season in the top 25, so it would be a big win for Martin’s Gamecocks if they can pull off the upset.
