SEC Network analysts predict every South Carolina game in 2017
With a full year of QB Jake Bentley leading a high-powered South Carolina offense, expectations are high in Columbia.
However, SEC Network analysts Booger McFarland and Greg McElroy don’t think the 2017 season will be such a great one for coach Will Muschamp’s squad.
While picking every South Carolina game for the SEC Network on Tuesday, neither were particularly high on the Gamecocks.
McElroy will be in the broadcast booth for the Gamecocks’ Week 1 opener against NC State, so he couldn’t make a pick in that game.
Still, South Carolina fans won’t like what he predicted, as he had them going 5-6 the rest of the way:
That’s when McFarland stepped in, though, and decided to not only pick NC State to win in Week 1, but also to switch one of McElroy’s choices.
As you can see below, McFarland thinks the Gamecocks will lose to Vanderbilt and has South Carolina finishing a disappointing 4-8 overall.
