The SEC women’s basketball coaches chose their preseason rankings of who they think will win the conference this year in women’s basketball and to no surprise, they picked the South Carolina Gamecocks.

Dawn Staley’s team won the SEC last year and they went to the Final Four losing by 1 point to Stanford, 66-65.

She also won several national coach of the year awards too.

Texas A&M was chosen second. The Aggies went 25-3 last year, 13-1 in the SEC, and they also made it to the NCAA Tournament.
