Shane Beamer discusses South Carolina's 'disappointing' loss at Missouri
South Carolina’s 4th-quarter comeback bid at Missouri came up short Saturday, as the Gamecocks fell 31-28 on the road.
Shane Beamer’s team trailed 31-14 with 7 minutes to play but scored 2 TDs in a span of 2:24 seconds to cut the lead to 3 with 4:32 to play.
The Gamecocks, however, were unable to get the ball backs as the Tigers ran out the clock behind the running of Tyler Badie, who had 209 yards on 34 carries in the victory.
The loss dropped South Carolina to 5-5 on the season, and it will now need a win over either Auburn or Clemson in its final 2 games to get bowl eligible.
After the disappointing loss, Beamer met with the media.
