Shane Beamer gave an encouraging injury report during his weekly teleconference on Sunday as South Carolina prepares to host Clemson.

“For the first time all season, we are in great shape,” he said, according to the Post and Courier’s David Cloninger.

Per Beamer, wide receiver Juice Wells could play for the Gamecocks on Saturday. He hasn’t made an appearance since Sept. 16 at Georgia thanks to a foot injury. Beamer was also “optimistic” that offensive linemen Cason Henry, Jaxon Hughes, and Trai Jones, along with running back Dakereon Joyner, could play as well.

As for Clemson, according to the Post and Courier’s Jon Blau, Dabo Swinney revealed that Beaux Collins suffered a torn plantar fascia in the Tigers’ win over North Carolina. Swinney declared the wide receiver, who has 38 catches for 510 yards and 3 touchdowns, day-to-day.

South Carolina vs. Clemson is a 7:30 p.m. ET kickoff on the SEC Network on Saturday. If the Gamecocks win, they will be bowl eligible.
