Shane Beamer provides updated injury report for Week 3 game vs. Georgia
Shane Beamer and South Carolina have a tough game ahead of them on Saturday as they travel to Sanford Stadium to take on No. Georgia. The Bulldogs are 2-0 and have scored 40 or more points in their first 2 games.
During his weekly radio show on Thursday, Beamer provided the latest injury update for the Gamecocks.
They won’t have offensive lineman Markee Anderson or edge rusher Jatius Geer, with Beamer declaring both players out for the contest along with running back Bradley Dunn. That said, defensive backs Nick Emmanwori and David Spaulding will be available, with Beamer adding the disclaimer that neither player was “100%.”
Wide receiver Juice Wells will be available, too.
After a Gamecock win in 2019, they have dropped the last 3 meetings in the series, including a 48-7 loss in Columbia last year. In fact, the Gamecocks have surrendered at least 40 points to the Dawgs in each of the last 3 games.
Kickoff from Athens is set for 3:30 p.m. and will be televised on CBS.
