Shane Beamer rips CFP selection committee for not ranking South Carolina: ‘Keep crappin’ on us’

Shane Beamer and the South Carolina Gamecocks are playing their best football of the season, and they continued that trend by going on the road and beating Vanderbilt by a score of 28-7 on Saturday.
With the win, the Gamecocks move to 6-3 on the season, and the team is extremely close to being 8-1. They were right there in games against Alabama and LSU, and ended up losing both of those games by a combined 5 points.
After the win on Saturday, Beamer was critical of College Football Playoff selection committee members for not ranking the Gamecocks earlier in the week.
“The people that do the rankings don’t think we’re worth a crap and that’s fine,” Beamer said. “Keep crappin’ on us, that’s the way we like it. Don’t rank us this week. We’re good where we are.”

Perhaps South Carolina will be ranked on Tuesday night when the selection committee updates their rankings.
The Gamecocks will be back in action next week against another Top 25 team as the Missouri Tigers will come to Columbia.
