Christian Beal-Smith and MarShawn Lloyd did not play in South Carolina’s embarrassment of Tennessee last Saturday.
No, Spencer Rattler did enough to take home the win, throwing for 450+ yards and 6 touchdowns in his best performance in a South Carolina uniform. And still, The Gamecocks would love to have their top 2 running backs in the backfield against Clemson to close out the year.
Well, things look pretty good on that front. According to head coach Shane Beamer, both Beal-Smtih and Lloyd practiced Tuesday.
MarShawn Lloyd and CBS were both “out there” at practice, per Beamer.
Said he’s hoping they’ll feel good coming into the building tomorrow.

South Carolina is looking to score its first win over the Tigers in the Palmetto series since 2013. South Carolina has never won the Palmetto Trophy, officially formed in 2015. The 2 face off at Noon on ABC.
