South Carolina has set the dates for its 15 spring practices of 2020.

By starting in late February and giving players time off for spring break, the Gamecocks have managed to stretch the practices from February into April. Will Muschamp’s squad will open spring drills on Feb. 26 and wrap up with the Garnet & Black Spring Game on Saturday, April 4, which will kick off at 1 p.m. ET and stream on SEC Network+.

From the South Carolina press release:

Practice dates are set for February 26, 28 and 29;
March 3, 5, 17, 18, 20, 21, 24, 26, 28 and 31;
April 2 and 4.

All practices except for the spring game will be closed to the public. University of South Carolina’s spring break is set for March 8-14.

The Gamecocks enter Year 5 of the Muschamp era, returning 45 letterwinners, including 13 starters, six on both sides of the ball, along with placekicker Parker White. Muschamp is 26-25 at South Carolina and 54-46 overall as a head coach. The Gamecocks went a disappointing 4-8 in 2019, ending a three-year streak of bowl berths.

Muschamp’s staff has undergone numerous changes on both sides of the ball since the end of the 2019 season. Former Colorado State head coach Mike Bobo will be the team’s new offensive coordinator.

South Carolina has also set its Pro Day for March 19 at the team’s indoor practice facility.
