South Carolina lands commitment from Georgia running back

Will Muschamp’s South Carolina program got some good news on the recruiting trail on Tuesday night. Rashad Amos, a running back from Tyrone, Georgia, announced his pledge to the Gamecocks.

The Sandy Creek product is listed at 6-feet, 210 pounds and rated the No. 75 running back, No. 131 Georgia recruit and No. 1,271 prospect overall nationally for the 2020 class on the 247Sports Composite. He shared the big news on Twitter, attaching a highlight video to his commitment announcement:

Amos has 13 scholarship offers at this time, with the other 12 including Tennessee, Maryland and NC State.

South Carolina now has 19 pledges for its 2020 class, which ranks No. 7 in the SEC and No. 19 nationally on the Composite.
