South Carolina loses commitment from 4-star 2021 recruit after loss to North Carolina
The South Carolina Gamecocks started out the 2019 season with a game in Charlotte against North Carolina.
Despite being favored by a sizable margin, the Gamecocks ended up losing in disappointing fashion, falling to the Tar Heels 24-20.
Now, it’s having an effect on the recruiting trails, too, as 2021 4-star RB Lovasea Carroll decommitted from South Carolina on Sunday morning:

Per the 247Sports composite rankings, Carroll is the No. 8 running back in the 2021 class and the No. 20 overall recruit from the state of Georgia.
Carroll was the only player in the Gamecocks’ 2021 class, so now it’s down to zero commitments. Carroll originally committed to the Gamecocks back in April.
