As an early enrollee at South Carolina, Ryan Hilinski has plenty of adjustments ahead making the transition from high school to college life, but he’s already got one thing figured out. Hilinski shared Wednesday that he’ll be wearing No. 3, which he also wore in the recent All-American Bowl high school all-star game.

Rated a 4-star quarterback, Hilinski is one of the headliners of South Carolina’s 2019 recruiting class. Will Muschamp has already signed 19 of the class commits, with DT Jakeem Green the only pledge yet to sign.

As an early enrollee, Hilinski gets a jumpstart on his development, but he certainly won’t be rushed into action. Starting QB Jake Bentley recently announced that he will be returning for his senior season.

A product of Orange Lutheran (Orange, Calif.), Hilinski is rated the No. 2 pro-style quarterback, No. 10 California recruit and No. 54 prospect overall nationally on the 247Sports Composite. He had 24 other scholarship offers.
